The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) has announced that in an operation undertaken with the Dominican Armada in coordination with the Public Prosecution Service, the confiscation of 70 packages of cocaine found on a boat off the coast of the municipality of Miches in El Seibo province, in the eastern part of the country.
The report states that the agents intercepted the boat and the drugs were found inside, but that during the operation, the occupants of the boat managed to escape and are currently being sought. In addition to the drugs the authorities confiscated the boat, a truck and a motorcycle.
