According to the National Meteorological Office (Onamet), a tropical wave currently located over the Eastern part of the country has moved westward, but a trough will bring rainfall and storms especially during the afternoons, as it combines with the remnants of the tropical wave. Areas to be affected are the north, northeast, southeast (including Greater Santo Domingo), the central mountain area and the border region.
