DR wins gold in Women’s U-23 Pan American Cup

The Dominican Republic continues to be the team to beat in U-23 women’s volleyball. The Dominican Republic on Sunday, 19 August 2018 won the Women’s U-23 Pan American Cup celebrated 12-20 August in Lima, Peru. It was the first time a Peruvian team played a final. This is the Dominican Republic’s team’s fourth consecutive gold medal in the competition that began to be held in 2012. The sets ended 25-10, 25-17, 25-18 in favor of the Dominican women. The DR team is ranked third in the world, Peru is in 11th place.
