93-year old Russell Marion Nelson Sr., president, and his wife Wendy Watson , elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) are scheduled to visit the Dominican Republic on Saturday, 1 September 2018. The agenda of Nelson, Sr. and Watson include a meeting with the church’s missionaries of East Santo Domingo at 10am. At 4pm, the couple will attend a special conference at the Los Alcarrizos church center.
Russell M. Nelson is the 17th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was elected on 14 January 2018.
