According to Rafael Núñez Veloz, head of the foreigner’s division at the Migration Agency (DGM), some 203,000 foreigners registered again to renew or update their status under the National Foreigners’ Status Legalization Plan (PNRE). He said it would not be until the end of September that they have the exact number but that the next step will be to issue the cards in a process that will take until 10 October 2018.
