The Dominican ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Briunny Garabito Segura has presented his credentials to President Xi Jinping. Segura was appointed as ambassador last June 2018 by President Danilo Medina following the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in Beijing on 1 May 2018. Garabito Segura was formerly Dominican ambassador in Canada.
