The Anti-Noise Unit of the Police in Santiago announced that it seized on Monday, 8 October 2018, 100 loudspeakers installed in vehicles, homes and businesses throughout the province. The operation seeks to bring relief to city residents who are constantly complaining of noise. The Santiago-based police combed the neighborhood of Cienfuegos, Gurabo, Pueblo Nuevo, Bella Vista, Tamboril, Camboya and Los Salados where the sound amplifiers were seized.
