Reto Salinas 2018 is taking place 25 November 2018. The distances are 500 m, 2 km and 4 km in Salinas Beach off Bahía de las Calderas in Peravia province, near Baní city. The Tiburones Mako Swim Club and Aqua Salud RD are the event organizers. The event has the backing of the Dominican National Masters Swimming League and the Dominican Swimming Federation.
The 500 m swim is an open category, the 2km category will be for those 24 and less, 25-34, 35-44, 45-55 and 55 and more age groups.
This is a great opportunity to swim long distances safely in the crystal clear waters of the bay and enjoy the support of a great crowd of open water enthusiasts.
The event base is Hotel Salinas in Baní. The hotel is offering special rates for participants and accompanying persons from 23-25 November.
