The Ministry of Health has announced that it is waiting for the autopsy results being carried out on a woman who died in a private clinic in Laguna Salada, Mao in the province of Valverde, following a cesarean section. Preliminary reports is that the obstetrician left before the procedure was finished, delegating it to a resident.
Health Minister Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas said that preliminary reports state that Ramona Rodríguez died when undergoing a C-section. He said once the investigation is complete the appropriate action would be taken.
