Breastfeeding hall at the Las Americas International Airport

Santo Domingo’s main international airport, the Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) is the country’s first to offer a special area for the convenience of breast-feeding mothers. The new hall was opened in mid October 2018 is located in an area open to the general public at the South Terminal. There are four private areas where mothers can feed baby or extract mother’s milk. The facility is fitted with reclining chairs, foot rests, areas for hand washing, and a children’s area. The area is open to both airport employees and traveling public.
