President Danilo Medina was in Samana on Thursday, 25 October 2018, where he participated in the ground-breaking ceremony for the Hacienda Samana Bay on the Malecón of Samana. The investment is estimated at upwards of US$100 million in its first phase. The property includes a 60-suites condo hotel and a residential unit with 40 apartments – studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms with views of Samana Bay.
Luis Pareja, CEO for the company, said the development encompasses 200,000 square meters of Samana Bay fronting property. Pareja says the property is ideal for international travelers who want to spend their winters in the privileged environment of Samana.
