Body found in Colonial City

The National Police have revealed the identity of a body found in the ruins of the San Francisco Monastery on Sunday morning, 25 November 2018, in the Colonial City.  The victim has been identified as Héctor Lorenzo García, aged 42, who had a police record for stealing a motorcycle back in 2014. He died as a result of blows to the skull and face.

His body was discovered in one of the passages of the ruins at 6:40 am, together with a black back pack and a piece of concrete.

Six men have been arrested including the security guard of the ruins and the body was taken to the National Institute of Forensic Science for an autopsy.
