The Ministry of Public Works reported the reconstruction of 96 kilometers of roads and sidewalks in three northwestern provinces. Deputy Public Works Minister Ramón Pepín said the roads are:
Monción-El Rubio (21 km), El Cacique-Los Quemados (5 km) in Santiago Rodríguez province. Mao-Guayubín (42km) in Valverde. And Mao to Esperanza in Montecristi (10 km) and Navarrete-Esperanza (11km) in Santiago and Valverde provinces. Works on sidewalks in northwestern cities were also carried out.
