A fire that affected the carpentry workshop at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo caused concern among guests staying at the hotel. Preliminary reports are that there were no injuries and the firemen worked on the fire at midnight of 16 January 2019. A representative of the Ministry of Tourism assured that all is under control.
