In the last day or so at least five people have been killed and several injured in traffic accidents around the country, in four of the fatalities, motorcycles were involved.
Wilber Sanchez Puente, aged 17 was killed on the road between El Seibo and Pedro Sanchez when his motorcycle collided with a car.
Rafael Soto Mirabal died in an accident on the elevated section of Luperon Avenue with 30 May, and his son was injured.
Two young people, Adalberto Espinal Serrano and Joan Manuel Fana died in an accident involving two motorcycles and injured in the same accident were their passengers, Alexandro Bruno Ciprian and Gina Sarante and finally Rosa Mari Almonte Ozaria died when the motorcycle driven by her boyfriend crashed on the road to Ramon Santana from Santo Domingo.
