The National Metereological Office, Onamet forecast that a frontal weather system moving from Cuba to the Dominican Republic will bring intense rains and chilly weathers for the central mountain range areas, southwest, northeast, southeast, including Greater Santo Domingo as it makes its way to the east. Low temperatures in the morning of around 18-20°C with noontime highs of 28-31ºC are forecast for the capital city and Santiago.
Weather forecast for Punta Cana is warmer, with noontime highs of 28/31ºC but early morning temperatures of 22/24ºC.
