Pineapple producers in Monte Plata have obtained certificates for the brands Dorada Premium Pineapple and Sweet Crown Dominican Pineapples. The certificate was sought now that Monte Plata pineapples are being exported and are in much demand in markets abroad. The certificates were issued by the National Office of Industrial Property (Onapi). Onapi director Sandy Lockward delivered the certificates to the representaties of the Asociacion de Productores de Piña de Monte Plata.
