The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) reported the seizing of 689 cocaine packages in Bayahibe in eastern La Altagracia province. Under arrest are two Colombians and a Dominican. The raid was carried out at dawn by DNCD units with the backing of the Dominican Armada and the coordination of Public Ministry prosecutors. The shipment of the drugs was received by sea, said DNCD spokesman Carlos Devers.
