The famous Dominican bolero singer, Lucía Fior Daliza Vicioso Alsina (Luchy Vicioso), died yesterday, Monday 18 February 2019 one day before her 69th birthday.
In 2015 it was announced that she was undergoing treatment for colon cancer.
She was the daughter of Ernesto Federico Vicioso and Lucía Alsina. She began singing at the young age of 4. By age 10 she was working with maestro Rafael Solano and frequently starred on TV shows.
She had a son with TV producer Freddy Beras Goico, from whom she later divorced.
