On occasion of the 175th Independence Day celebrations on 27 February 2019, a video with a remake of the 2015 song written by songwriter and singer Covi Quintana went viral. The video was released as part of the “Orgullo de Mi Tierra” campaign by Centro Cuesta Nacional. This time, Covi Quintana on the guitar was joined by the legendary voices of 18 famous Dominican performers and 42 musicians of the National Symphony Orchestra. The musical directors of the production were Alex Mansilla and Allan Leschorn.
Performing in the video were Covi Quintana, Johnny Ventura, Pavel Núñez, Techy Fatule, Manny Cruz, Milly Quezada, Jochy Santos, Nashla Bogaert, Fefita La Grande, Diomary “La Mala”, Eddy Herrera, Raymond Pozo, Miguel Céspedes, Los Hermanos Rosario, Luz García, Frank Ceara, Pedro Martínez and Mark B. They invited Dominicans all to look ahead with optimism and pride in the land.
