This Thursday, 28 March 2019, sopranos and tenors Pura Tyson, Anna Tonna, Otilio Castro and José Heredia will perform the concert, “La canción lírica dominicana” at 8:30pm. The concert is directed by Maestro Manuel Tejada with the performance at the piano of María de Fátima Geraldo’s and Elioenai Medina and the 15 musicians that make up the Camareta Santo Domingo. The concert is sponsored by the Fundación Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo-PDV in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture.
On the program are songs by Dominican composers Julio Alberto Hernández, José Dolores Cerón, Luis Rivera, Nelson Lugo, Aura Marina del Rosario, Ramón Díaz, Luis Rivera, Billo Frómeta, Enrique de Marchena and Fabio Fiallo.
