Fenatrado calls for a boycott to fuel sales on Friday

The Fenatrado truckers’ associations, whose affiliates control 30,000 trucks, called for all to not buy fuel on this coming Friday, 5 April 2019, in protest of the rising price of fuel and the lack of transparency in setting weekly fuel prices. Ricardo de los Santos, president of Fenatrado, called the boycott. He said that for over a year they have been demanding the government detail the seven-step formula that is used to calculate the weekly price of fuel. Also a legislator, De los Santos is a deputy for the PRM for Sánchez Ramírez province.
