President Danilo Medina on Good Friday was in La Vega for the inaugural of the repaved and expanded 40 km section of the Jarabacoa-Manabao-La Ciénaga mountain road. The works were carried out by the Ministry of Public Works. The better access benefited farms and vacationers as well.
