In the first game of the third preliminary round, the Dominican women’s volleyball team (ranked 10th by FIVB) lost to Turkey (12th). Scores were 20-25, 21-25, 26-24 and 18-25.
The Dominican women’s volleyball team next will play Thailand (14th) and Bulgaria (16th) as the 16-team FIVB Volleyball Nations League championship continues in Bangkok, Thailand. The DR now 3 wins and 4 losses.
