Mayor Abel Martínez of Santiago announced the completion of the first recycled tired garden area in the Nibaje city area, off Avenida Circunvalación Sur. Recycled tires were planted with ornamental plants. The city government has placed benches for city residents to relax and contemplate the innovative garden. The area is described as part of the “Urban Acupuncture” project by the city government. Ten locations have been chosen for the recycled city gardens.
