The Ministry of Sports announced the 15th National Sports Games are scheduled for 2-11 July 2020 in southeastern Valdesia region. Sports venues in the provinces of Peravia (Baní), Azua and San José de Ocoa will be prepared to receive thousands of athletes from all around the country. The previous bi-annual games took place in the Hermanas Mirabal region in the northeast, and the set date was postponed on several occasions.
