Local cacao and chocolate producers, the Rizek family, were in New York City for the opening of the first Kah Kow franchise abroad in Brooklyn. The company seeks to introduce the Dominican brand to US audiences.
Hector José Rizek, on behalf of the Rizek family, said: “For us, this is a historic moment. The opening of this store pays tribute to the great risks taken by our great-grandfather Salomón in 1895 and by grandfather Nazario, who in 1905 founded our cacao company.”
