Dominican weight lifter Beatriz Pirón won gold in the 49kg event at the Lima Pan Am Games on Saturday, 27 July 2019. Santa Cotes won bronze in the same event. Weight lifter Zacarías Bonnat won his first silver in 81 kg; Julio César Cedeño won bronze in 73kg. In the taekwondo competition, Bernardo Pie won silver. Bowlers Aumí Guerra and Astrid Valiente won bronze in women’s doubles.
