The Ministry of Culture announces the summertime Long Night of Museums event. There will be free admission at government-funded museums in the Colonial City from 9am to midnight. In additional special programs with live music, exhibitions, films showing, creativity workshops, recitals, story reading are on Saturday, 3 August 2019 program. Activities are programmed for all the family.
Merengue singer Manny Cruz will close the event with a show at the Plaza España in the evening to commemorate the 507th anniversary of Santo Domingo.
