
National Symphony Orchestra season opens with a concert on Wednesday, 14 August 2019 at the National Theater. The concerts continue through 20 November. Maestro José Antonio Molina, the head conductor, says this year marks his 10th year as conductor of the orchestra.
The first concert will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of Hector Berlioz and the 175th birthday of Rimsky-Korsakov. There will be guest conductors this year, including Gene Moon, Jaime Morales and Santy Rodriguez. Also cello player Amit Peled, Chinese piano player Zhenni Li, among others.
