This 15 to 18 August 2019, Samaná City is welcoming food lovers to its 8th Festival Gastronomico del Coco y el Pescado. The event commemorates the 263rd anniversary of the founding of the northeastern city.
The city of Samaná and the Confederation of Farm Producers (Confenagro), the Samaná Chamber of Commerce & Production are the organizers of the festival. It has the sponsorship of the ministries of Tourism, Industry & Commerce and Culture.
It is an opportunity to taste a variety of dishes made from coconut, seafood and fish, and the sweets of the province and arts and crafts.
