HES Group of Florida has announced it is investing US$7 million to remodel the Silver Sun Gallery and Embassy Suite by Hilton. The company recently announced the purchase for US$47 million.
But the lawyer for the builder of the mall and hotel, Desarrollos RDC, denied the completion of the deal. Company lawyer Tony Delgado said that Desarrollos RDC continues to be the sole owner of the hotel and shopping mall that is located on Av. Tiradentes and Fantino Falcon street in Santo Domingo.
Desarrollos RDC said that while there were negotiations, the purchasers violated several points in the contract and now Desarrollos RDC is revoking the deal as of 26 June 2019.
The builder of most of the Santo Domingo Metro, engineer Diandino Peña, is the owner of Desarrollos RDC.
