The Dominican team lost a first game 2-1 to Montserrat. Then the Dominican Republic team traveled back home and defeated El Salvador 1-0 in the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) League of Nations tournament. The team was playing at its home stadium, the Felix Sanchez Stadium in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
Concacaf is under the International Football Federation (FIFA).
