Thousands of senior citizens are benefiting from the health plan issued by the National Council for the Elderly (Conape) and the National Health Insurance (Senasa). The director of Conape, Nathalie María and Mercedes Rodríguez Silver of Senasa said the entities are working together to ensure older adults receive comprehensive care in the areas of health, social protection and general welfare.

It also covers food supplements and mobility devices such as wheelchairs, canes, crutches, among others.
