The Dominican Republic senior women’s volleyball team moved up to 7th place in the 12-team FIVB World Cup taking place in Japan, from 14 September to 15 October 2019.
The DR defeated Kenya 3-0 ( (25-17, 25-19, 25-19) for 3 wins and four losses. The DR has also defeated Korea.
The DR next plays USA (23 September), Argentina (26 September), Netherlands (27 September) and Serbia (28 September).
