21-year old Alba Blair from Jarabacoa won the right to represent the Dominican Republic in the Miss World contest on 14 December 2019 in London, England. The runner up was Carmen Muñoz from Santiago and Aida Saladín, who represented the Dominican diaspora.
Likewise, Zaidy Bello, representing Barahona, won the right to represent the Dominican Republic in the Miss International pageant. Emeli Reynoso, representing the Dominican Community in the United States, was crowned Miss Coffee.
The contests took place at the Gran Teatro Bávaro of the Bávaro Palace in Punta Cana.
