The National Institute of Professional and Technical Training (Infotep) has inaugurated two mobile training centers in the National District (Santo Domingo). There are now 51 Infotep training centers nationwide. The new centers are located in Villa Juana and will offer courses in making clothes and maintaining refrigerators and air conditioning units. The units will be open Monday to Friday and on weekends on several schedules.
Rafael Ovalles, director-general of Infotep, and Cesar Heredia, president of the Mauricio Báez Foundation headed the opening ceremonies.
