The board of the Democratic Alliance Party (APD) warns that opposition parties need to see themselves in the mirror of what has just happened with the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD). “If there was fraud in the party’s primaries, either in its entirety or in part of the process, the same will happen in the 2020 elections,” the party said in a written statement.
APD president Max Puig, said he is convinced there was fraud in the election. He recalled the JCE had opposed the equipment and software that would be used in the primaries be reviewed and audited by external institutions and by the political parties themselves.
