Elvis Crespo, Manny Cruz and Miriam Cruz have recorded “El merengón,” the classic merengue by the late Joseito Mateo for the quest for a Guinness World Record. 350 couples will dance the music in a synchronized manner to break a Russian merengue record. The event will take place on Sunday, 3 November at Plaza España in the Colonial City. Alberto Zayas is the producer of the event that has the backing of the Ministry of Culture.
