Former President Leonel Fernández was authorized to use the trade name “The Force of the People” (La Fuerza del Pueblo), according to a certificate dated 18 October 2019 from the National Office of Industrial Property (Onapi). The request had been made on 17 October 2019.
The holders of the name are Ramón Radhamés Jiménez Penna and Leonel Antonio Fernández Reyna. The registration number is 565599. The registration is for 10 years and can be renewed. The commercial activity registered by the owners is “to provide comprehensive advisory services for the institutional strengthening of democracy”.
