The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) announced the arrest of Jorge Jimmy Marin Bedoya (Gafito) for his ties to dozens of drug cartels in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Peru and the United States. He was arrested in a condominium in the luxury tower Torre Caney on Anacaona Avenue in the National District. He is accused of having ties with the confiscation of cocaine in a La Caleta, Boca Chica grocery shop in April 2019. As reported, the 24th floor condominium was the location for the business Petrocaribbean SRL.
