The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) issued a weather update on Thursday, 31 October 2019 saying that any rain showers on Thursday and Friday will be short.
Onamet reports that the tropical wave that is traveling south of the country will not bring the intense rain storms that had been forecast earlier. The conditions over the Caribbean Sea are not favorable to generate significant rainfall because of the reduced moisture content in the air over the country.
According to Onamet: “The likelihood of rainfall will remain low and only a few short-lived showers to isolated localities in the northeast, southeast and central mountain range. “
