United Airlines has added a frequency from Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo to Newark International Airport (EWR) in the New Jersey-New York area. United now has three flights connecting New Jersey-New York area with Santo Domingo. The Santo Domingo departure times for the three-hour flight are 6:15am, 11:28am and 3:28pm. United is flying a Boeing 737-900 with capacity for 179 passengers.
After Punta Cana International (PUJ), Las Americas International is the Dominican airport to receive the most passengers and offer the most flights. Aerodom-Vinci Airports reports the on average 140 international flights depart for Europe and the Americas every day.
