Dominican writer Luchy Placencia and her children’s novel “La niñez de Vega” (Vega’s Childhood) that was one of five finalists for the prestigious 6th edition of the Amazon Literary Prize. Other winners are Spaniards G.G. Velazco, Ismael Santiago Rubio, Elena Fuentes Moreno and Lorraine Cocó.
