The coast guard “Proción” GC103 of the Dominican Armada (Navy) rescued a 60-foot catamaran “Ohanna” and two British crew some 7.7 nautical miles off the northeastern shore of Cabrera. The Dominican Navy ship was alerted by the US Coast Guard. The catamaran had suffered mechanical problems. The vessel was towed to Puerto Bahía port in Samaná.
