A weeklong campaign that had people guessing turned out to be a promotion for Presidente beer. There was speculation “the man who would speak at 10:15pm on Monday, 18 November 2019 could be President Danilo Medina to back his candidate Gonzalo Castillo. Or Omar Fernández, the son of President Leonel Fernández who registered his candidacy for deputy for the PRSC. Or National District Mayor David Collado who would announce political aspirations different to seeking reelection. The speculations were many.
N Digital online reported: It was not politics, as many had speculated. It was nothing more than an advertising strategy of the Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, with actor Vicente Santos as the main character. Contrary to expectations, on Monday night, the country received a call to break the silence and back the ongoing professional baseball championship.
