Gonzalo Castillo for the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and Luis Abinader for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) received the country development proposal prepared by the National Business Council (Conep). The politicians were invited to participate in the 9th Business Convention held on 19 November 2019. Vice President Margarita Cedeño represented President Danilo Medina at the event.
Speaking during the luncheon, the president of the Conep, Pedro Brache highlighted the importance of maintaining political, economic and social stability in the country as base for peace and development in the country.
