Direct shipping service to the Netherlands Antilles

The Ministry of Foreign Relations announced the Netherlands Antilles shipping company Don Andres NV is offering direct maritime cargo service between Curacao and the Dominican Republic beginning on 29 November 2019 with an inaugural voyage from Haina Port to Willemstad, the Curacao capital. The Don Andres ship has the capacity for 40 freight containers.

The Ministry of Foreign Relations highlights the signing on 3 December 2018 of a partial trade agreement that facilitates trade between the Dominican Republic and the Netherlands Antilles. The ship can also take export cargo destined to buyers in Aruba and Bonaire.

Don Andres is a full-service trading concept located in Bonaire with 30 years of experience in the freight container shipping. The business provides for supermarkets, stores, restaurants, dive shops, construction companies, and auto dealers in Curacao, Bonao and Aruba.
