The 12th David Ortiz Golf Classic held in Miami, Florida this year collected US$2 million for the building of a pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory in the Dominican Republic. The event was held last weekend at The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida from 21-24 November 2019. This was the first time the event was held in Miami. Ortiz said the lab will be the most important donation made by his foundation.
