According to Willy Coronado, father of Coronado Arias, the child was taken to a clinic in Santiago and then transferred to the Arturo Grullon Children’s Hospital but he died after spending eight days there.
Kelin Cordero died at a Santiago clinic to which he was transferred from a hospital in Mao.
Last week a five-year-old girl, Osmairy Ortiz, 7-year-old Alía Tavárez, and 39-year-old Confesor Rosario, both died of dengue in Santiago.
